Commercially tied by our friends over at RIO Products, the Soccer Mom is a Central Oregon favorite for both stillwater and streams, alike. Offered in a size 10, I prefer to tie mine a little bit smaller for use during the latter-half of the season when the fish start to wisen up a bit.
Tied in multiple color combinations, the black/pink and olive/orange combinations are proven winners in all four seasons of the year. This fly can be tight-lined, nymphed under an indicator, stripped, and even swung on a trout spey to great effect!
