Please join our Deep Canyon Outfitter guides, Reid Curry & Jeremiah Houle for a 2-day course with a complete immersion into the process of swinging flies for winter steelhead. On day 1, this course will begin in our CFS classroom where the first half of the day will be invested in learning about the gear, tactics, & fly selections needed to chase these enchanting fish. The second half of day 1 will be spent out on the Deschutes River, where we will cover techniques on casting & learning which fly lines are to be used under winter fishing conditions. On the second day, we will proceed to test your newly acquired skills in front of wild winter steelhead on the beautiful North Santiam River. Lunches, wader/boots, rods/reels, etc., will all be provided for both days.
